Description:
This program is intended for new and developing arts organizations, established arts organizations that work on a project basis, and arts organizations undertaking a special, one-time initiative. The program is designed to provide partial support to a broad range of activities and art forms, reflecting different cultural traditions and art practices.
Comments on Funding:
The maximum amount of support for any arts organization or artist collective from the Project Grant Program is $10,000.
Applications are closed. Applications will open again on February 2026
Eligibility:
This program is open to Winnipeg arts organizations and collectives who have as their primary mandate and core activity, the creation, production, or presentation of the performing, visual, literary, film, video, or media arts. Organizations which receive other grants or funds from the City of Winnipeg or any of its agencies are not eligible.

Groups of artists working on a collective project including Winnipeg Fringe Festival productions should apply to this program rather than to the Individual Artist program.
