Description:
The Market and Export Development Grant provides support to individuals and businesses for market access and market development opportunities intended to improve visibility and generate sales.
Creative Saskatchewan offers two streams of funding depending of the scale of the project – Major and Micro.

Funding details:
1. Major Stream:
a) Approved projects will be funded up to 50% of the approved project budget to a maximum of $25,000 per applicant per fiscal year, or to a maximum of $50,000 per applicant per 24 months, whichever is the lesser.
b) Any funds received through the “Market & Export – Micro Grant” are included in the calculation.
2. Micro Stream:
a) Approved projects will be funded up to 50% of the approved project budget to a maximum of $5,000.

Eligibility:
Eligibility criteria:
1. Applicants from all creative sectors supported by Creative Saskatchewan are eligible to apply for this grant.
2. Projects that are eligible for any Creative Saskatchewan production grant (Book Publishing Production, Craft and Visual Arts Production, Digital Game Development, Live Performing Arts Production, and Sound Recording) should apply for a production grant rather than the Market and Export Development Grant.
3. Applicants are limited to one Market & Export – Micro Grant per fiscal. Unsuccessful applicants are eligible to reapply twice per fiscal.
