Description:

The Industrial Energy Efficiency Program provides funding to large and small scale industry customers for both electric and non-electric saving opportunities for projects reducing electricity, for energy audit, feasibility studies, or service studies and for projects reducing greenhouse gases.
The project stream provides incentives on energy saving projects, including: process improvements, hvac systems, refrigeration, building envelope, compressed air, energy intensity reduction, fuel switching.

Comments on Funding:

Funding for energy audit, feasibility studies or service studies for projects reducing electricity is up to 100% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of $20,000 for small industries and $40,000 for large industries.
Project incentives for projects reducing electricity are the lesser of $0.108/kWh or 50% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of $250,000 for small industries and $500,000 for large industries.
Project incentives for non-electric projects reducing greenhouse gases are 25% of capital costs.

2. operating in Prince Edward Island.
