Description:
The Arts in Communities (AIC) Program is intended for new, emerging and established arts and cultural organizations and performing arts festivals that strengthen New Brunswick communities artistically, culturally and economically through vibrant arts and cultural activities. The AIC Program supports specific projects and initiatives that leverages partnerships with other arts organizations (where applicable) and/or engage professional, and/or emerging artists

Eligibility:
Applicants must be:
1. For Category A: First Time Applicants
a. Eligible non-profit organizations which have been in existence for less than 12 months OR have never received project funding from THC.
b. Projects should be arts-focused, engage a professional artist and a
community.
c. Events can be a one-day or multi-day project.
2. For Category B: Established Organizations & Projects
a. Established community arts and cultural organizations that have previously received THC funding.
b. Projects should be arts-focused, engage a professional artist and a community.
3. For Category C: Established Arts & Culture Festivals and Gatherings
a. Arts and multi-disciplinary festivals and gatherings whose primary mandate and presentations are in the
arts. Festivals should:
i. Feature the work of professional artists and/or emerging New Brunswick artists;
ii. Demonstrate a coherent artistic vision or theme;
iii. Incorporate arts presentations/performances/events and take place in a concentrated area, if held
in-person.
