Description:
The Creation Grant program is designed to provide assistance to professional New Brunswick artists for the research, development and execution of original projects in the arts. Creation Grants are intended to allow artists to devote some or most of their time to research and creative production.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. Be a Canadian citizen, have an affiliation with a First Nation on Turtle Island, be a permanent resident of Canada or have an application for permanent resident in process;
2. Have resided in New Brunswick for at least one year (12 months) prior to the application
deadline;
3. Qualify as a professional artist according to the guidelines in Appendix 1: artsnb Definition of a Professional Artist.
4. Have submitted all relevant Final Reports (if applicable).

2. submit the application by 11:59pm on the deadline date.
Documentation Needed:
Applicants must submit:
1. Project description, max. 500 words
2. Balanced project budget
3. Artist CV
4. Samples of work (see Appendix 2: Samples of Work Guidelines)
5. (If applicable) CV and letter of agreement for each artistic collaborator involved in the project
