Businesses can receive up to $90 rebate for every high bay LED fixture installed.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is rebate of up to:
– $90 when replacing a 400 watt metal halide fixture;
– $60 when replacing a 250 watt metal halide fixture.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be businesses that have an active commercial electricity account and are located in an existing building. This applies to retrofits only.

Product Eligibility:
1. The high bay LED fixture must be replacing a metal halide 250 watt or 400 watt high intensity discharge (HID) fixture and be listed on The DesignLights Consortium (DLC) qualified product list.
2. Fixtures must be purchased on or after August 1, 2016 and used at a commercial property.

Application Steps:

Applicants must apply online or mail their completed application.

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must submit a copy of their purchase receipt and product specification sheets with their application.

Other Things to Note:

Newfoundland Power and Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro may visit applicant’s facility and inspect the fixture installation at any time within 15 months from when the rebate was processed.
