Eligibility:
The applicant must:
1. be a permanent resident, business, not-for-profit, or municipality in Newfoundland and Labrador;
2. purchase new or used 100% all-electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle between April 1, 2022 and March 15, 2023;
3. purchase vehicles intended for personal, business, not-for-profit, or municipal use in Newfoundland and Labrador;
4. purchase vehicles registered for use within Newfoundland and Labrador.
Application Steps:
Applicants must complete and submit the online application form.
Documentation Needed:
Applicants must submit:
1. a completed and signed rebate application;
2. a copy of the final bill of sale or lease contract from an authorized dealer in Canada, indicating the date of purchase;
3. proof that the vehicle is registered for use within Newfoundland and Labrador;
4. a copy of the final vehicle permit that lists the VIN and vehicle information from Service NL must (an application or receipt is not proper documentation. It must be the full permit that contains the applicant’s and the car’s information).
Other Things to Note:
Rebates are available on a first-come, first-serve basis or until program funding is depleted.
