Deep Retrofit Accelerator
The Deep Retrofit Accelerator is dedicated to accelerating the adoption of deep retrofits across Atlantic Canada, focusing on commercial, institutional, and multi-unit residential buildings, as well as housing in Indigenous communities. This multi-partner program, led by the ReCover Initiative, will involve publishing a strategic roadmap for the deep retrofit industry, providing services and support to property owners and developers, and building industry capacity.

About the funding
This multi-partner program, led by the ReCover Initiative, will involve publishing a strategic roadmap for the deep retrofit industry, providing services and support to property owners and developers, and building industry capacity.
As part of the program, HCi3 is working to increase understanding and access to financing options for building owners and managers to advance deep retrofits. This will include:
- identifying gaps and opportunities for financing in Atlantic Canada
- developing tools and training to increase knowledge of funding pathways
- strengthening relationships with potential financing partners.
