Since 2015, Digital Nova Scotia has been proud to bring its members free* training opportunities with the assistance of Nova Scotia’s Workplace Innovation and Productivity Skills Incentive (WIPSI). These programs are focused on improving Nova Scotian productivity, profitability, innovation, technology, machinery, equipment and increasing inter-provincial and international competitiveness while fostering workplace diversity.

Comments on Funding:

Free for businesses with under 50 Employees
Eligible for up to 100% of direct training cost coverage.
Up to a maximum of $10,000, any amount over $10,000 is cost-shared at 50%.

50% discount for businesses with over 50 Employees
Eligible for up to 50% of direct training cost coverage.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

1. Be a paid Digital Nova Scotia member prior to the program start date and operate within the tech sector as a tech business.
2. Be located in Nova Scotia and be registered with the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stocks or incorporated by an act of the Nova Scotia legislature for at least one year.
3. Be generating at least 30% of revenue from commercial activity; any business activity (occupied with commerce or trade) that has an expectation of profit.
