Description:

This financial assistance program is one of the tools for implementing Québec’s policy on the Canadian Francophonie. More specifically, it aims to:
1. strengthen ties between Quebecers and Francophones from elsewhere in Canada;
2. increase the use of French and the visibility of Francophone cultures in Canada.
The financial assistance businesses can recieve is up to 50% of eligible expenses.

Comments on Funding:

Funding grants range from $7,000 up to $150,000 depending on the project classification.

Eligibility:

Eligible organizations are:
1. non-profit organizations in Quebec and other provinces and territories;
2. schools, health and social services institutions in Quebec and other provinces and territories;
3. businesses in Quebec and other provinces and territories;
4. municipalities in Quebec and other provinces and territories.
Ineligible Organizations are as follows:
1. the individuals;
2. departments, budget-funded bodies and Crown corporations as well as corporations controlled directly or indirectly by a government (provincial or federal) or by a Crown corporation;
3. enterprises registered in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts, including their subcontractors who are also registered;
4. authorized or registered political parties and bodies recognized by the electoral authorities;
5. political education organizations;
6. artist agencies;
7. organizations that have not complied with the Secretariat’s grant conditions regarding accountability;
8. organizations that have not fulfilled their obligations after being put on notice in connection with previous financial assistance granted by a department or agency of the Government of Quebec;
9. organizations that do not meet the high standards of integrity that the public is entitled to expect from a recipient of financial assistance paid out of public funds;
10. organizations that do not meet their obligations under the Charter of the French language.

Application Steps:

Applicants must:
1. submit their request on the SQRC Subventions platform .
2. consult the following documents:
a) Funding application form questions ;
b) Budget form ;
c) Normative framework 2023-2026 ;
d) Guide to using the platform.
