Description:
This program supports the carrying out of activities and projects that promote the economic development of the sectors strategic areas, niches and centers of excellence, innovation centers and zones, and regions.
Comments on Funding:
The maximum amount of financial assistance is $1,000,000 per organization, per year, up to a total of $3,000,000 over three years.
Before March 31, 2026
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be non-profit organizations;
2. be cégeps (colleges), college technology transfer centers, and Quebec universities;
3. be Quebec research centers;
4. be enterprises;
5. be cities, municipalities, and regional county municipalities (RCMs);
6. be organizations with similar activities and non-profit organizations incorporated under the Cities and Towns Act.
Application Steps:
Applicants must complete the financial aid application form (PDF 1.31 MB) and prepare the required documents.
Documentation Needed:
Applicants must provide:
1. a detailed description of the project and its financial package;
2. the organization’s financial statements for the last two years (or forecast financial statements for a start-up organization);
3. the latest annual activity report of the organization and the niche, if applicable;
4. service offerings and partnerships, if applicable;
5. a copy of the declaration of conformity with the Equal Access to Employment Program, if applicable;
6. a copy of the francization certificate, if applicable;
7. any other document required depending on the nature of the project (market study, sustainable development action plan, etc.).
Other Things to Note:
This program ends on March 31, 2026.
