Description:

The Entrepreneurship program contributes to the career path of current or future young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35. LOJIQ offers in-kind support and financial support for the realization of entrepreneurial projects involving mobility in Quebec, Canada or internationally.
The program has 4 components:
1. The Initiation to entrepreneurship component introduces entrepreneurship to students and young adults aged 18 to 35. They will learn about entrepreneurial culture and values ​​and develop their potential as an entrepreneur.
2. The Business Development component encourages the development of young entrepreneurs starting up in business or in the process of taking over.
3. The Training in Business Incubators and Accelerators component provides young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35 the possibility to train in French within an incubator or an accelerator on one of the territories of the member states and governments of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF).
4. The Business Mentoring component offers pairing projects with a business-mentor to young adults aged 18 to 35. With the support of LOJIQ, entrepreneurs can be mentored by business leaders and accompany them on a trade mission abroad.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:
1. be young entrepreneurs;
2. be aged 18 to 35;
3. be developing their potential as entrepreneurs;
4. be starting up in business or in the process of taking over.

Application Steps:

Applicants must:
1. create their account on the LOJIQ portal
or log in if they already have an account;
2. fill out the project form and enter their username to submit their form;
3. attach all the documents under the Attachments tab;
4. complete the application form;
5. invite other participants: under the Participant Invitation(s) tab if other participants are taking part in the project.

Documentation Needed:

Introduction to Entrepreneurship Stream – Applicants must provide:
1. A curriculum vitae or a link to their professional profile (LinkedIn);
2. Proof of registration or participation (if it is an event or training);
3. One or more official reception confirmations (if it is a prospecting stay);
4. A letter of support from a support organization in Quebec (if applicable);
5. Budget planning linked to the realization of their project;
6. A stay program.

Business Development Stream – Applicants must provide:
1. A curriculum vitae or a link to their professional profile (LinkedIn);
2. Proof of registration or participation (if it is an event or training);
3. Confirmation of the business meeting(s) (if it is a business development mission or market study);
4. Budget planning linked to the realization of their project;
5. A stay program;
6. For businesses with legal status: the Quebec business number (NEQ);
7. For businesses without legal status: a letter from a support organization or a letter from a professional testifying to the start-up process or the summary of the business plan.

Other Things to Note:

Applicants must submit their projects at least 45 days before their departure date for it to be eligible.
