Description:

District 3’s tailored services will help you build your product, acquire customers, increase early sales, find product market fit, and scale your startup to have a global impact. This program helps startups that have initial traction through customers, letters of intent, or initial investment accelerate to ‘product market fit.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:
1. be startups, in any of these streams:
a) Bio, Healthcare or High Tech;
b) Social Innovation.
2. consist of Teams with at least 2 entrepreneurs (exceptions can be made
if a single founder has extensive relevant background);
3. be committed to 25 hours per week (online/at home) per co-founder;
4. be established in Montreal.

Other Things to Note:

1. District 3 looks for an idea that leverages emerging technologies or an innovative business model; a minimum of two co-founders; and full-time commitment from at least one co-founder.
2. The program lasts up to 24 months. Every three months, District 3 will assess and evaluate whether the entrepreneurs should continue or consider pivoting, so they don’t waste time on the wrong ideas. Upon completion of the program, District 3’s goal is to help entrepreneurs create viable businesses, and acquire the necessary competencies to be self-reliant entrepreneurs.
