Description:
This program enables organizations in the tourism industry to accelerate their digital transformation, particularly through the acquisition and implementation of digital solutions that will improve the customer experience.
Comments on Funding:
The maximum rate of financial assistance granted to a project is 75% of eligible costs.
Eligible costs must be at least $10,000 per project;
The maximum aid granted for an individual project is $60,000;
The maximum aid granted for a collective project is $150,000, up to $30,000 per company participating in the collective project;
Support may vary depending on the financial resources available under the program as well as the number of eligible applications;
Financial assistance may not under any circumstances be increased to compensate for cost overruns in approved projects.
It is not possible to submit an application at this time.
Eligibility:
for-profit organizations legally constituted in Quebec;
non-profit organizations legally constituted in Quebec;
cooperatives legally constituted in Quebec;
Indigenous communities, organizations and nations recognized by the National Assembly.
Organizations must have commercial activities relating to the field of activities, attractions, festivals and events of a tourist nature in all regions of Quebec.
Applicants may come together to propose a collective project by designating a responsible organisation which will act as the project’s lead promoter:
a municipal, regional or sectoral entity;
a tourist business.
Definition of a tourist activity: place or product, developed, built or created, or programming of festive, sporting or cultural activities, which has the capacity to entertain and attract excursionists and tourists carrying out leisure tourism.
For example: museums; sporting events; ski resorts; heritage, historical or religious sites; spas; outfitters; interpretation centres; tourist attractions related to agritourism, adventure tourism or Aboriginal tourism.
