Description:
Develop collective research and innovation initiatives, as well as sectoral expertise, through support for partnerships, structuring projects, co-financing and collaboration between research establishments and partners.
Comments on Funding:
Financial assistance covers 60 % of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of $710,000 ( excluding indirect research costs and administration costs). A maximum increase of 30 % in the financial assistance rate may be granted for projects that meet ministerial or government priorities.

Eligible projects
To be eligible, all projects must meet the following conditions:
Match one of the following:
Structuring research and development projects;
Structuring initiatives for research and innovation partnerships with collective scope in line with the priorities of the sector as well as with the objectives of the call for projects;
Research or teaching chairs;
Innovation networks;
Structuring research projects linked to agro-environmental issues;
Increase the competitiveness of the sector or respond to a harmful agro-environmental problem;
Have a maximum duration of five years.
Projects must target one of the priorities defined in the calls for projects with the aim of responding to one or more challenges in the biofood sector.
