Call for mobilizing projects on the development of tomorrow’s transport technologies

Description:

This call for projects is aimed at Quebec companies that have a design or demonstration project in partnership or in collaboration with other companies and public research centers in the aerospace sector.

This call is part of the Innovation program, section 2 – Support for mobilizing projects.

Comments on Funding:

We reserve the right to limit the number and value of projects accepted in order to respect the planned budget envelope.

Financial support will take the form of a non-repayable financial contribution representing up to a maximum of 50% of the project’s eligible expenses.

The maximum assistance is $10 million per project, and the maximum cumulative rate of public assistance is 70% of eligible expenses. The number of projects accepted and the value of the contribution granted for their implementation may be limited in order to respect the budget envelope provided for the call for projects.

Eligibility:

To be eligible, mobilizing projects must meet all of the following criteria:

Be for a minimum duration of one year and end no later than December 31, 2028.
Include eligible expenses totaling at least $4 million.
Focus on the development of a new product, a new innovative manufacturing process or a new technological solution whose initial technological readiness level (TRL) is 5 or 6, up to a final TRL of 7 or 8.
Promote the development of the aerospace sector by contributing to the development of several companies and encouraging networks between companies, economic development organizations and public research institutions.
Have the required level of innovation, i.e. the product, innovative manufacturing process or technological solution directly linked to a product has a decisive advantage over existing solutions on the market and in the aerospace sector, on a national or international scale.
Present a technological or business risk or uncertainty to the company.
Require research and development efforts.
Demonstrate that reasonable efforts will be made to ensure that the product, innovative manufacturing process or technological solution directly linked to a product developed as part of the project generates maximum industrial benefits for Quebec.
