Description:
The Dedicated Fund for the English-speaking communities of Quebec subcomponent supports engagement by community organizations and strengthens their ability to act while encouraging innovation and excellence.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be:
1. Canadian non-profit organizations, duly registered
2. associations, institutions or Canadian foundations, or
3. Canadian for-profit organizations (solely for non-profit activities
Eligible organizations must represent the interests of the English-speaking communities of Quebec. Priority will be given to organizations operating in Quebec whose missions, mandates or the majority of their activities support the development and enhancement of English-speaking communities of Quebec. It may also be given to projects for English-speaking communities in underserved regions.
Application Steps:
Applicants must:
1. review the Application Guidelines — Community Life component — Cooperation with the Community Sector subcomponent, and
2. contact the regional Quebec office of the Official Languages Support Programs of the Department of Canadian Heritage to request a funding application package and to submit the required documentation (see below)
Documentation Needed:
Applicants must submit:
1. a document describing the links with the objectives of the Cooperation with the Community Sector subcomponent:
a. the official-language issue(s) that led the organization to submit an application (an official-language issue is defined as what fosters or restricts the use of the minority language);
b. what must be changed, improved or maintained?
2. a description of proposed programming, services, activities or projects;
3. a clear statement of expected results along with the performance indicators for the duration of the project;
4. if applicable, a description of priorities linked to the development of communities, or the area of intervention;
5. an implementation schedule;
6. a budget that provides a breakdown of the estimated expenses and financial contributions for each section of the proposed programming, services, activities or projects;
7. if applicable, a description of measures taken with respect to communication and outreach activities targeting the other official-language group;
8. a copy of your organization’s documents of incorporation or the application for incorporation (if in progress);
9. a copy of the articles and by-laws;
10. a copy of your organization’s most recent financial statements, audited, if available;
11. a proof of authority and delegation of signing authority;
12. an acknowledgment confirming an absence of conflict of interest; and
13. a letter confirming your organization’s commitment to provide information on results.
