The Economic Development for Territorial Revitalization (DÉPART) program aims to help you diversify and strengthen your business. The objective of this Program is to enable SMEs to diversify and strengthen their economic activities in order to improve the economic vitality index of their MRC, compared to the average of others.

Comments on Funding:

Through this Programme, the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy (MEIE) aims to achieve the following specific objectives in these territories, with a view to sustainable development:

Facilitate access to financing for businesses located in the targeted RCM territories.
Increase the emergence, growth and expansion of local entrepreneurship in the targeted RCM territories.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be:
1. For-profit businesses with 250 employees or fewer (SMEs)
2. legally incorporated under the laws of the government of Quebec or Canada with an establishment operating in Quebec, as well as collective businesses (cooperatives and NPOs) within the meaning of the Social Economy Act (RLRQ, chapter E 1.1.1) with a predominantly commercial activity.
3. Registered in Quebec, have an establishment there and actively carry out activities there.

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must submit:

1. The duly completed financial assistance application form ;
2. A business plan in accordance with the application guide.
3. IIts financial statements for the last two years (or its forecast financial statements for start-ups).
4. Service offerings and partnerships (if applicable).
5. Proof (copy of the francization certificate, certificate of registration with the OQLF, acknowledgment of receipt of the analysis of the linguistic situation or certificate of application of the francization program) of compliance with the requirements relating to francization (if applicable);
6. A copy of the declaration of compliance with the Equal Access to Employment Program when it is a for-profit company with more than 100 employees and the financial assistance is $100,000 or more;
7. For social economy enterprises, a copy of the general regulations
8. Any other document required depending on the nature of the project – Reference: Appendix C of the Application Presentation Guide (professional fees, travel expenses, hiring, etc.).
