Other Things to Note:

District 3 focuses on four streams — bio, healthcare, high tech and social innovation — each harnessing emerging technologies for global impact. It offers stream specific expertise, programs and global expansion support at each step of the startup journey. 1. District 3 came into being when Montreal’s startup ecosystem was in its infancy, from the beginning we did things differently. We focus on advancing an open, collaborative ecosystem that enables entrepreneurs to thrive and succeed. Our programs and services are open to all. We represent a diversity of cultures, backgrounds and ideas – fostering innovation and a global mindset.
2. We take no equity.
3. Headquartered in the heart of downtown Montreal, District 3’s co-working space has office space for startups, private meeting rooms, a phone booth, and a design lab for prototyping including 3D printers, laser cutters, and electronic components.
4. Access workshops and 1:1 with experts. Join exclusive events and grow your network. Learn the essential competencies and a framework for rigorous consumer interviewing necessary to validate the viability of your startup. You will have the opportunity to be awarded $25K in Momentum Grants as part of acceptance into our Launch & Grow program (high tech, bio & healthcare only).
5. Eligibility Criteria
Your startup has at least 2 co-founders. You have reached the proof of concept stage beyond your initial idea.
