This program provides financial contributions to entrepreneurs and businesses supported or about to be supported by a recognized incubator/accelerator, with positive recommendation from the incubation structure,

Comments on Funding:

Funding is a non-repayable contribution by lump sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) for a maximum amount of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) per year.

Deadline: Continuous Intake

Applicants must:

  • be people starting a business;
  • be private companies incorporated;
  • be social economy enterprises (NPOs and coops) mainly carrying out commercial activities;
  • be headquartered (head of office) in Agglomeration of Québec (cities of Québec, Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures and L'Ancienne-Lorette) and Wendake, except for extra-provincial companies (head office outside Quebec) for a first establishment in Quebec.

  • Social economy enterprises (NPOs and coops) that do not demonstrate sound democratic governance;
  • Applicants not discharged from a bankruptcy judgment;
  • Companies registered in the register of companies not eligible for public contracts;
  • Applicants who, during the two years preceding the application for financial assistance, have failed to respect their obligations in connection with the previous granting of financial assistance from the City of Québec, after having been duly put on notice to do it;
  • Applicants with outstanding amounts with the City of Quebec;
  • Projects that are discriminatory, controversial or risk a negative image for the City of Québec.

    Eligible business sectors - Priority sectors:
  • Agribusiness, food processing and health foods;
  • Digital arts and interactive entertainment, fintech, artificial intelligence, smart city or other digital products and technologies, excluding services and consulting;
  • Optics-photonics, measurement and control technologies, advanced electronics;
  • Life sciences, biotechnologies and health technologies;
  • Clean technologies: water, air, soil treatment, ecomobility, energy efficiency, renewable energies, green chemistry, residual materials, enabling technologies and sustainable development.
