Programme d’accessibilité des établissements touristiques (PAET): Projet collectif (Tourism Establishment Accessibility Program: Collective Project)

Applicants for PAET's third stream can come together to propose a collective project by designating a responsible organization acting as file holder (examples: grouping of festivals and events acquiring an accessible platform, which is reused by all members, grouping of businesses tourists by purchasing an adapted dock and a hoist).

Comments on Funding:

Funding is a grant of up to $300,000 for collective projects.

Deadline: Continuous Intake

Eligible Clientele:

  • Legally constituted for-profit organizations (FPOs).
  • Legally constituted nonprofit organizations (NPOs).
  • Legally constituted cooperatives.
  • Organizations, communities, and Indigenous nations recognized by the National Assembly.
  • Any grouping of these clientele.
    Ineligible Clientele:
  • State-owned enterprises, ministries, and organizations of the Quebec or Canadian government.
  • Municipalities. However, a non-governmental organization that operates for tourism purposes a property, service, or other in a location or on a site owned by a municipality or a regional county municipality (RCM) under a written agreement with the latter is eligible.
  • Projects eligible under the Quebec Housing Corporation's Small Accessible Establishments Program (PEA), which aims to improve access for people with reduced mobility to small business, commercial, and community centers.
  • Companies registered in the Register of Ineligible Suppliers for Public Contracts.
  • Companies that, in the two years preceding the financial assistance application, have failed to fulfill their obligations after being duly notified to do so when receiving previous financial assistance from the Quebec Ministry of Tourism.
