Description:

Transportez Vert is a program that aims to support the reduction of petroleum products and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and to increase energy efficiency in the road transportation sector. Its Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC) Stations component provides financial assistance for the acquisition and installation of DC fast charging stations to promote the electrification of vehicle fleets.

The applicant may benefit from a maximum financial assistance of $150,000 per fiscal year.

Eligibility:

The applicant must:
1.be any business registered with the Quebec Business Registry, any municipality, and any public organization with an establishment in Quebec, with the exception of:
a) Ministries or budgetary organizations of the Quebec government listed in Annex 1 of the Financial Administration Act (Chapter A6.001);
b) Persons designated by the National Assembly;
c) Federal ministries or organizations;
d) Applicants in dispute with the Ministry of the Environment, Climate Change, Wildlife, and Parks (MELCCFP), or who have not fulfilled their obligations towards the organization;
e) Applicants in a situation of bankruptcy or insolvency within the meaning of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act;
d) Applicants registered in the Business Registry, not eligible for public contracts (RENA).
2. be the owner or operator of a fleet of road vehicles.

Step 1 – Project Planning
First estimate the cost of your project by requesting quotes from the various suppliers who will be involved in its implementation. You must ensure that your project is eligible for the Transportez vert program according to the conditions indicated in the regulatory framework and in the Applicant’s Guide.

Step 2 – Project Implementation
You can purchase and install all charging stations .

Step 3 – Submission of the financial assistance application
You must attach the requested documents in electronic format (see the Applicant’s Guidefor details):

the financial aid application formExcel format by providing the required information in the “General Information” and “Fast Charging Station” tabs;
the signed financial aid application form, “General Information” tab, pdf or image format;
a copy of all detailed and itemized invoices related to the project;
photos of the charging stations installed at your establishment;
photos of the components of the new electrical infrastructure (transformer, distribution panel, etc.) as well as other devices covered by the request (if applicable);
a copy of proof of payment of invoices.
photos of the registration certificates of the vehicles using the terminals.
Step 4 – Analysis of the financial aid request
The Ministry will process your request for participation by assessing the eligibility of the activities and expenses claimed.

Step 5 – Payment of financial aid
The Ministry will determine the amount of financial assistance based on the various criteria of the regulatory framework and will pay the financial assistance to which you are entitled by check.
