Description:

This program enables organizations in the tourism industry to accelerate their digital transformation, particularly through the acquisition and implementation of digital solutions that will improve the customer experience.

Comments on Funding:

The maximum rate of financial assistance granted to a project is 75% of eligible costs.

Eligible costs must be at least $10,000 per project;
The maximum aid granted for an individual project is $60,000;
The maximum aid granted for a collective project is $150,000, up to $30,000 per company participating in the collective project;
Support may vary depending on the financial resources available under the program as well as the number of eligible applications;
Financial assistance may not under any circumstances be increased to compensate for cost overruns in approved projects.

Eligibility:

The following are eligible:

for-profit organizations legally constituted in Quebec;
non-profit organizations legally constituted in Quebec.
The organization must have a valid general travel agency permit issued by the Office of Consumer Protection.

He fulfills the role of a tour operator, that is to say:

creates and operates products (packages, group trips or FIT [ free independent travellers ]) generating traffic in Quebec;
markets a range of various tourist activity products in Quebec, published and active before April 1, 2023;
offers the products for sale directly to consumers or to customers of tour operators or travel agencies;
is active in the leisure tourism market.
Definition of a tourist activity: a place or product, developed, built or created, or a program of festive, sporting or cultural activities, which has the capacity to entertain and attract excursionists and tourists engaged in leisure tourism.
For example: museums; sporting events; ski resorts; heritage, historical or religious sites; spas; outfitters; interpretation centres; tourist attractions related to agritourism, adventure tourism or Aboriginal tourism.
