Description:

This program supports strategic technological, digital or business process innovation projects, the implementation of which enables companies to face the challenges of new consumption habits and take advantage of the potential of new creation and distribution tools. These innovation projects relate as much to the production, dissemination or marketing of cultural content as to the management or emergence of new business models.

Comments on Funding:

1. The amount of financial assistance can reach a maximum of $150,000 per project and cannot exceed 50% of eligible expenses.
2. In the context of a collaborative project, the amount of financial assistance can reach $500,000 and cannot exceed 50% of eligible expenses.

Eligibility:

Eligible Clientele:
1. Being a legally constituted company, for-profit or nonprofit (NPO), primarily operating in the fields of activity covered by SODEC;
2. Having its headquarters and main establishment in Quebec and demonstrating that effective control of the company is predominantly held by individuals with their tax residence in Quebec. The term “headquarters and main establishment” refers to the location where the center of decision-making is situated and where the true management of the company takes place;
3. Individual businesses are not eligible, except in the field of crafts.

Application Steps:

1. All requests must be sent through the secure electronic portal SOD@ccès.
2. By connecting to SOD@ccès, applicants must:
a) create their user profile if they are a new user or enter their access codes;
b) choose the program corresponding to their request, i.e. number 30-40-00 for this program;
c) complete the application form and upload all required documents.

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must prepare the documentation to transfer to SOD@ccès, including:
1. a declaration of the applicant company;
2. an Implementation plan;
3. a Budget;
4. a Balance sheet (only for individual businesses in arts and crafts);
5. a Statement of results (only for individual businesses in arts and crafts);
6. a Master file – Identification of shareholders and directors of the company.

Other Things to Note:

Please ensure that you attach all required documents to SOD@ccès. Documents must be compliant, complete, in force, dated and signed by the persons with the required authority, when required. Only complete and compliant applications will be analyzed. Applications that are incomplete by their submission deadlines will be declared inadmissible and must be resubmitted. Read the Info-SODEC about the processing of incomplete applications.
