Description:
Increase the adoption of agro-environmental practices by farms.
Comments on Funding:
Financial assistance is calculated based on the amount established per production unit and according to the type of production, as defined in the table above. The total financial assistance granted under this sub-component cannot exceed $20,000 per agricultural operation, i.e. $ 10,000 for organic pre-certification and $ 10,000 for organic certification, for the entire duration of the program.

Eligibility:
The eligible clienteles are as follows:
a farm;
an agricultural equipment cooperative (CUMA) whose branch of activity concerned by the project includes at least three agricultural holdings. Eligible projects:
To be eligible, projects must target one or more eligible practices linked to at least one of the objectives of the 2020-2030 Sustainable Agriculture Plan and meet their specific requirements.
Application Steps:
When submitting the application for financial assistance, you must provide:
the financial assistance application form (PDF 0.99 MB) , including the “Financing plan” appendix (XLSX 80 KB) ;
the reference or scientific article demonstrating the proven nature of the practice;
the location plan of the plot targeted by the test;
a diagram of the device that clearly shows the treatments, the size of the plots, the number of repetitions and the location of the device in the field.
Documentation Needed:
When submitting the application for financial assistance, you must provide:
the financial assistance application form (PDF 1.75 MB) (a separate form must be submitted for each status [organic pre-certification and organic certification]);
the certificate of organic pre-certification or organic certification for the production units covered by the application for financial assistance;
the document issued by a certification body and clearly indicating the areas by type of production, the number of taps or hives for which financial assistance is requested as well as their status (e.g.: year of conversion, pre-certification or certification);
the lease for a minimum period of five years from the date of filing of the application for financial assistance (either by a renewal clause or a residual period of at least five years) for the leased production units;
the farm plan clearly indicating the plots, lots and assessment units associated with the production units covered by the financial assistance application.
Applicants who obtain organic pre-certification or first organic certification for the type of production targeted by the project must submit one of the following proofs:
the technical intervention report produced in the 12 months preceding the filing of the application for financial assistance by an advisor offering technical advisory services for the type of production targeted. a diploma from a training course specializing in organic production issued by an educational institution.

Project submissions will be made continuously until February 15, 2026 or until the available credits are exhausted , whichever comes first.
