Description:
The refundable tax credit for Quebec film and television production covers labour expenses incurred by a company that produces a Quebec film (or program).
Comments on Funding:
As part of the processing of refundable tax credit applications for Quebec film and television production , at the final certification stage , SODEC will no longer require receiving a review mission report for productions whose final production cost is equal to or less than $ 250,000 .
In lieu of a cost report in the form of a review mission, the producer must provide SODEC with a duly signed declaration . The declaration can be downloaded via the SODEC website or the SOD@ccès portal.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
