Description:

This program aims to support the implementation of collective projects led by a tourism association (regional or sectoral) or a representative recognized by the Ministry of Tourism. These projects must demonstrate repercussions for businesses in several regions or sectors.

Comments on Funding:

Financial assistance takes the form of a non-repayable financial contribution.

The amount of assistance is calculated based on the eligible costs of the project. For more details on financing, see the Financing Conditions section of the Promoter’s Guide (PDF 265 KB) .

Eligibility:

sectoral tourism associations (ATS);
regional tourism associations (ATR);
agents recognized by the Ministry of Tourism;
a grouping of the above-mentioned clienteles.
When represented by one of the previously named clienteles , the following groups of organizations are also eligible:

for-profit organizations (NPOs);
non-profit organizations (NPOs);
cooperatives;
indigenous communities and nations recognized by the National Assembly as well as indigenous NPOs and OBLs.
Organizations must meet the following conditions:

Be legally incorporated under the laws of the governments of Quebec and Canada and do business in Quebec.
Be up to date with the required accountability of their agreements relating to the mandates entrusted by the Minister of Tourism or have respected, where applicable, their commitments to the Ministry and its partners when awarding a previous grant.
If they operate tourist accommodation, comply with the laws and regulations in force and hold a registration number.

Other Things to Note:

The accumulation of government financial assistance consists of contributions from municipal entities and all ministries and agencies of the Quebec and federal governments. Repayable financial assistance granted specifically to the project is considered at 50% of its value.
