Roll Green program

National leisure organizations (NLOs) are important players in terms of accessibility, quality and promotion of the free or organized practice of leisure activities. Their mission, their associative life, the preventive nature of their activities, consultation and their collective actions contribute to providing the entire population with a healthy and safe practice framework.

The organizations targeted by this program are the NPOs recognized under the National Recreation Organization Recognition Program (PRONL). The PAFONL sets out all the guidelines used by the Ministry in its funding process for partner NPOs, whose main mission is compatible with that of the Ministry as well as with its responsibilities and orientations.

More specifically, the program aims to support NPOs :

for the promotion, development and management of their field(s) of leisure intervention, recognized within the framework of PRONL, with a view to sustainability, increasing the practice of physical activities and sustainable development;
support the implementation of provincial initiatives that promote accessibility and quality of experience for the Quebec population.
It is important to note that recognition as an NLO does not automatically give access to funding offered by the Financial Assistance Program for National Recreation Organizations.
