Description:

Plan, develop or consolidate collective initiatives for local marketing and agritourism.

Comments on Funding:

The maximum rate of financial assistance corresponds to 70 % of eligible expenses for Component 1.

A 15% increase in financial aid is possible for a project:

carried out in the Magdalen Islands agglomeration;
targeting exclusively products that are subject to pre-certification or organic certification.
The maximum amount of assistance per applicant for the duration of the initiative (including the bonus) is $ 50,000 .

Financial aid obtained under previous versions of the initiative is not taken into account.

Deadline:

The submission period ended on October 31, 2024. No new applications will be accepted.

Eligibility:

Eligible customers
Non-profit organizations (NPOs);
Cooperatives;
Business combinations;
Municipal entities;
Indigenous communities or nations;
Public institutions that are committed or have committed to adopting a Quebec food purchasing target while respecting the objective of the initiative.
Eligible projects
Projects that meet the specific objective of Component 1 and satisfy all of the following criteria are eligible:

Correspond to a collective initiative;
Respect the maximum duration established in the project submission period;
Present eligible expenses of a minimum amount of $7,000 when submitting the complete financial assistance application;
Aim for relational or geographic proximity marketing or agritourism;
Fall into one of the following activity categories:
carrying out planning, diagnostics or studies;
organization of support, development or knowledge transfer activities;
canvassing or business networking;
design of marketing materials and tools;
construction, adaptation or development of a place of sale.
