Description:

​Increase research and knowledge development on issues surrounding the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in agriculture, with the aim of optimizing nitrogen fertilization and reducing methane emissions from livestock farming.
Develop decision-making tools that are popularized and adapted to different types of companies in order to enable advisors to support companies in the biofood sector in implementing more strategic interventions in the fight against climate change.

The call for projects closed on October 30, 2024. No new applications will be accepted.

The program is aimed at the following biofood activity sectors:

agriculture;
food processing;
commercial fisheries and aquaculture.

Documentation Needed:

1. Completed and signed financial assistance application form; 2. Complete business plan, including a work plan and budget forecasts for all years of the project; 3. Evidence of partners’ participation in the project, where applicable; 4. Resumes of project team members, including external experts or specialized resources, if applicable, validating the experience and expertise of the project
implementation team; 5. Written authorization to reuse training content, from the original author of the training, when the project consists of adapting the content of an existing training

During the implementation of the project, according to the terms described in the financial assistance agreement, you will have to provide an accountability report using the documents below:
