This program helps companies carry out innovative projects by offering them financial assistance of up to $ 7,500 to hire a student or a new graduate (for a maximum of five years) from a scientific or technological program in order to support them in the realization of their project.

Funding is a subsidy of up to $7,500.

Deadline: Continuous Intake

Applicants must:

  • be Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean SMEs for the technological component
  • be SME members of the Quebec Center for Aluminum Research and Development (CQRDA) for the aluminum sector component
  • have projects meeting these criteria:
    a) The project must stand out for its novelty in relation to the daily activities of the company;
    b) Technological and innovation aspects must be demonstrated in the project description;
    c) The project must demonstrate that there is a technological/technical challenge for the company;
    d) Projects in the aluminum sector must explain how they contribute to the development of this sector;
    e) The candidate must not be employed by the company at the time of the submission of the project;
    f) The candidate agrees to waive obtaining academic training credits if these represent more than 50% of the hours allocated in the memorandum of understanding.
