Description:

The Quebec Alcohol Positioning Support Program – Support for increasing sales and the supply of Quebec alcohol in the Société des alcools du Québec network (PAPAQ, section 1) aims to increase sales and the supply of value-added products from Quebec alcoholic beverage producers.

Financial support for sales made at the production site
From July 1 to September 30, 2024, the percentage of the financial contribution in the form of a subsidy will be doubled for sales made at the place of production of holders of a distiller’s permit, for spirits composed entirely of alcohol manufactured by the company from Quebec raw materials.

In order for this financial support to be granted, the applicant must comply with the terms and conditions governing sales at the place of manufacture.

Deadline:

April 1, 2025

Eligibility:

companies legally constituted under the laws of the government of Quebec or Canada and having an establishment in operation in Quebec;
collective enterprises (cooperatives and non-profit organizations) within the meaning of the Social Economy Act.
These companies must in particular:

be holders of:
either the craft production permit (for the specific category of product types for which financial assistance is requested),
either the distiller’s permit issued by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (RACJ) when the volume of global sales recorded was equal to or less than 6,000 hl the previous year;
have made sales in the SAQ distribution network during the financial year of this organization ending on the last Saturday of March;
for holders of a distiller’s permit, comply with the terms and conditions governing sales on the manufacturing site, in particular sections 26 and 26.0.1 of the Act respecting the Société des alcools du Québec. The holder of a distiller’s permit must have an up-to-date file with the SAQ.
