Description:

The Economic Development Project Support Program – Structuring projects of organizations in support of entrepreneurship development (PAPDE, component 1) aims to promote and support structuring projects of organizations that offer direct services to entrepreneurs.

Comments on Funding:

Financial assistance takes the form of a non-repayable grant.

The maximum aid rate is 60% of eligible expenses for NPOs and 70% of eligible expenses for social economy enterprises.

The accumulation of government assistance cannot exceed 80% of eligible expenses.

The maximum amount of financial assistance is $1,000,000 per organization, per year, for a period of three years.

Eligibility:

Complete the financial aid application form (PDF 1.78 MB) and prepare the following documents:

a detailed description of the project and its financial structure;
the organization’s financial statements for the last two years (or forecast financial statements for a start-up organization);
the strategic planning, the annual action plan and the latest annual activity report of the organization, if applicable;
service offerings and partnerships, if applicable;
a copy of the declaration of compliance with the Equal Access to Employment Program, if applicable;
a copy of the francisation certificate, if applicable;
any other document required depending on the nature of the project (market study, sustainable development action plan, etc.).
Send by email the duly completed and signed financial assistance application form as well as all required documents, indicating “Structural projects of organizations in support of the development of entrepreneurship” in the subject line.

Eligible and incurred expenses cannot exceed a continuous period of 36 months .
