Description:
On February 13, 2023, in Bécancour, the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Metal Transformation (CRITM) launched the Critical and Strategic Minerals Scientific Research Network (Network), whose main objective is to promote the development and sustainability of critical and strategic minerals (CSM) value chains.
Comments on Funding:
The program provides for a total envelope of $11 million. Financial assistance is available until March 31, 2027.
The maximum rate of financial assistance is 70% of eligible expenses up to $4,000,000 per project. The calculation of financial assistance is detailed in the Call for Proposals Guide .

Eligibility:
be active in Quebec;
have an establishment in Quebec;
be a member of the MCS-specific Scientific Research Network;
and correspond to one of these entities:
a for-profit company in the mining and industrial sectors of Quebec, registered with the Registrar of Enterprises of Quebec;
a Quebec non-profit organization (NPO) operating in various research and development niches;
an establishment of the Quebec education and higher education network involved in the various sectors of research and innovation;
a public research institution .
