Description:

This component aims to increase the number of collective actions necessary for the management and promotion of reserved designations and promotional terms.

Comments on Funding:

The maximum rate of financial assistance is 75 % of eligible expenses. The maximum amount of financial assistance awarded can reach $50,000 per project. The maximum financial assistance for this sub-component is $150,000 per applicant for the duration of the program.

Deadline:

Applications for financial assistance will be submitted continuously until March 1 , 2026, or until the funds are exhausted , whichever comes first

Eligibility:

Eligible projects
The project must have a maximum duration of 24 months and aim to promote or develop a reserved designation (other than “ organic ”) or a promotional term, by producing or achieving:

​A marketing or commercialization plan;
A promotional campaign;
A symposium or conference;
Training for businesses;
A study aimed at improving knowledge;
An update of the specifications and the control plan.
The project must also project a minimum amount of financial assistance of $ 5,000 at the time of submission of the application.

Complete description of the project, including budget forecasts and a schedule or a complete activity plan, if it is not included in the financial assistance application form (sections 5 and 6). For Sub-component 2.1 – Management Support, the activity plan must detail the objectives, targets and activities planned to achieve these targets during the periods covered by the requested grants.);
Financial statements of the organization for the last two years (if unavailable: form T2042 of the Canada Revenue Agency income tax return for the last two years). Read the contents of note number2
