Description:
The Sustainable Destination and Concerted Action – Component 2 measure aims to support businesses, non-profit organizations, municipal entities and Indigenous communities in the implementation of projects resulting from a participatory and concerted planning approach within the destination to promote responsible, sustainable tourism adapted to the context of climate change.
Comments on Funding:
Financial assistance takes the form of a non-repayable grant.
The maximum amount that can be granted for a project is $400,000.
Down payment
The financing of each project must include an initial investment corresponding to the share of the project’s revenues provided by non-governmental sources. It may consist of one or more sources.
Contributions may be in cash, goods or services, as applicable. The applicant must make a minimum contribution of 5% of the total eligible expenses, of which at least 2.5% must be in cash.
Accumulation of financial aid
The maximum cumulative amount of government financial assistance applicable according to the type of eligible organization is specified in the table below.

Eligibility:
for-profit organizations;
non-profit organizations;
cooperatives;

indigenous communities or nations recognized by the National Assembly as well as indigenous organizations and businesses;
any grouping of these customers.
Organizations must meet the following conditions:
be legally constituted under the laws of the governments of Quebec or Canada for more than one year;
have their head office in Quebec;
demonstrate that consultation with stakeholders in the community, the MRC or the region has taken place;
hold a registration number, unless you are a municipal entity or an indigenous community or nation;
demonstrate that they are able to unite the stakeholders of the community, the MRC, the targeted region or the sector concerned.

the final templates for financial planning, business planning and sustainability plan;
the resolution of the board of directors of his organization authorizing the signatory to act on its behalf and certifying that the organization has the funds required to ensure its share of the investment;
the latest audited financial statements of his organization;
confirmation letters for all financial and in-kind contributions making up the down payment;
letters of commitment from stakeholders involved in the project (minimum of three, excluding the project leader);
letters of interest demonstrating that the project benefits from the support of the community (for example a social or community organization, a citizens’ committee, etc.);
any planning document for activities and actions to be implemented resulting from the participatory and concerted planning process (for example an action, development, mobilization or pooling plan);
any other relevant document useful for understanding the project.
