Description:

This program aims to improve the production value of French-language fiction, documentary or animated television series in order to increase their commercial potential in markets outside Quebec by relying on technical and artistic aspects (visual and sound), the adaptation of Quebec literary works and the acquisition of rights for a minimum of three existing musical works.

Eligibility:

Eligible for this program are projects for fiction, documentary or animated television series, scripted and developed in French. Television series projects must comply with the Act respecting the sectoral parameters of certain tax measures .

Application Steps:

All requests must be submitted through the secure electronic portal SOD@ccès . By logging into SOD@ccès, you will need to:

Create your user profile if you are a new user or enter your access codes
Choose the program corresponding to your request, i.e. number 60-42-01 for this program
Complete the application form and upload all required documents

List of television series that have won awards or been nominated in international events
List of existing Quebec musical works
Summary of production quote
Financial structure
Master File – Identification of shareholders and directors of the company

Other Things to Note:

Please ensure that you attach all required documents to SOD@ccès. Documents must be compliant, complete, in force, dated and signed by the persons with the required authority, when required. Only complete and compliant applications will be analyzed. Applications that are incomplete by their submission deadlines will be declared inadmissible and must be resubmitted.
