This program stream provides tourism businesses funding for projects aimed at making infrastructure and landscaping accessible or improving the company’s current offer.

Funding is a grant of up to $100,000 for a project aimed at making infrastructure and outdoor facilities accessible or enhancing the current offering of the business.

Eligibility:

Eligible Clientele:
1. Legally constituted for-profit organizations (FPOs).
2. Legally constituted nonprofit organizations (NPOs).
3. Legally constituted cooperatives.
4. Organizations, communities, and Indigenous nations recognized by the National Assembly.
5. Any grouping of these clientele.
Ineligible Clientele:
1. State-owned enterprises, ministries, and organizations of the Quebec or Canadian government.
2. Municipalities. However, a non-governmental organization that operates for tourism purposes a property, service, or other in a location or on a site owned by a municipality or a regional county municipality (RCM) under a written agreement with the latter is eligible.
3. Projects eligible under the Quebec Housing Corporation’s Small Accessible Establishments Program (PEA), which aims to improve access for people with reduced mobility to small business, commercial, and community centers.
4. Companies registered in the Register of Ineligible Suppliers for Public Contracts.
5. Companies that, in the two years preceding the financial assistance application, have failed to fulfill their obligations after being duly notified to do so when receiving previous financial assistance from the Quebec Ministry of Tourism.

Application Steps:

1. Applicants must validate the eligibility of their establishment and the project by completing this form.
2. A Kéroul representative will contact them to make an appointment to visit their establishment as well as discuss their project, the program objectives and improvements to be made to obtain the accessible rating.
