Description:

The Arctic Energy Alliance (AEA) has energy experts and money available to help businesses, non-profits, or community governments conserving energy and improving its energy efficiency. Through the Building Improvements Program, eligible customers can save money by reducing the amount of heating fuel, electricity and water used, or want to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Comments on Funding:

The AEA provides rebates of up to $50,000 for energy upgrades.
The rebate amount applicants will receive will be the lower of:
– 50% of the total eligible costs of their project; and
– A calculation based on the amount of money and greenhouses gases that their project will save (see the program guidelines for more information).

3. be community governments;
4. be conserving energy and improving its energy efficiency.
