SADC Chibougamau-Chapais’ Youth Strategy Fund is designed to encourage the acquisition, start-up and expansion of businesses by young people, thereby promoting their employability. In doing so, the community can benefit from a young population remaining in the area.

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet these eligibility criteria:
1. The project is carried out within the territory served by the SADC Chibougamau-Chapais;
2. The promoter must be aged 18 to 39 and must be a majority shareholder in the company;
3. The project is located in a field of activity corresponding to the development directions chosen by the community;
4. The project creates new jobs or helps maintain existing ones;
5. The project demonstrates interesting potential and reasonable viability.
