SADC d’Antoine-Labelle provides a loan intended for the acquisition of shares or assets of a company.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is a loan varying from $25,000 to $300,000:
– A maximum duration of 15 years with the possibility of a 12-month moratorium on capital;
– After the moratorium period, the rate will be set at prime rate + 2% (rating A), prime rate + 2.75% (rating B) or prime rate + 3.5% (rating C) = (minimum 5%);
– Down payment and guarantees established according to the nature of the project.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:
1. be entrepreneurs;
2. be acquiring business shares or assets of a company ;
3. be located in the territory served by the SADC;
3. have met these eligibility criteria:
a) Purchase of 100% of the company’s shares or assets;
b) Demonstration of the viability of the business and its repayment capacity;
c) Expertise of the promoter or transfer plan with the former owners and/or balance of the sale price;
d) Maintenance of at least 5 permanent jobs within the company including the promoter.
The company must have been in business for at least 5 years
