Funding is a loan varying from $5,000 to $25,000:
– Maximum term 7 years;
– 2-month moratorium on capital and interest followed by a 22-month moratorium on interest;
– The interest rate is set at the prime rate + 3% at the start of the third year (minimum 5%);
– Personal loan as part of a business project;
– Application fee of 1% and a minimum of $150.

Eligibility:
Applicant must:
1. young entrepreneurs;
2. be at least 18 years old and at most 39 years old;
3. hold a majority stake and decision-making power in the company;
4. situate the project in a sector of activity corresponding to the development priorities and orientations of SADC and the region;
5. demonstrate, through a rigorous business plan, interesting growth potential and good prospects for profitability and viability;
6. carry out the project in the territory served by the SADC;
7. contribute to the creation and maintenance of jobs.
