Description:

The SADC Youth Strategy aims to curb the exodus of young people towards large urban centers. The SADC aims to encourage the acquisition, establishment, expansion or modernization of a business by one or more young people. As well as promoting the employability of young people and promoting their social, cultural and economic commitment in their communities.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is a loan varying from $5,000 to $25,000:
– Repayable over a maximum period of 7 years;
– 24-month interest leave;
– Possibility of capital payment holiday for a certain period;
– Loan without guarantee;
– Possibility for two young entrepreneurs to each benefit from a loan for the same project;
– A personal loan.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:
1. be young entrepreneurs;
2. be at least 18 years old and at most 39 years old;
3. be located in the MRCs of D’Autray and Joliette.
