The SADC des Sources offers entrepreneurs and businesses in its territory a Regular Fund tailored to their needs. This fund is intended for a start-up, a business acquisition, a consolidation, an expansion, the acquisition of equipment or fixed assets or for working capital, etc.
Comments on Funding:
Funding is a loan ranging from $10,000 to $150,000:
– Interest Rate: Prime Rate + 2% + Risk Premium;
– Maximum Loan Term: 20 years;
– Application Analysis Fee: 1.5% of the loan amount (minimum $500).
Continuous Intake
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be entrepreneurs;
2. be businesses;
3. have its head office or main place of business in the MRC des Sources;
4. have assets of less than $10 million;
5. have fewer than 200 employees;
6. have projects that meet the following criteria:
a) The project should not compete with existing businesses in the served territory or demonstrate that the target market is not saturated;
b) The project must demonstrate its viability and enable the business to achieve good profitability;
c) The management team must possess sufficient knowledge and expertise in the industry;
d) Owners must provide equity or demonstrate that working capital is adequate to support the project;
e) The project must facilitate job creation or retention.
