Description:
The Youth Strategy Program aims to encourage the development of youth entrepreneurship by promoting the creation and maintenance of jobs among young people aged 18 to 39.
Comments on Funding:
Funding is a loan ranging from $5,000 to $25,000:
– A personal loan;
– 24-month interest leave;
– Possibility of a moratorium on capital repayment of 24 months;
– Repayment period of up to seven years.
Continuous Intake
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be young entrepreneurs;
2. be aged 18 to 39;
3. meet these criteria:
a) have companies located in the territory served by the SADC;
b) have 50% or more of the decision-making power of the company;
c) demonstrate entrepreneurial abilities;
d) have viable and profitable projects;
e) bring local and regional economic benefits;
f) down payment: flexible requirements.
