SREDA’s SOAR kihiw paskîyâkêwin Indigenous Entrepreneurship Competition, presented by PIC Group, awards a total of $30,000 cash to promising Indigenous businesses ready to grow.

Comments on Funding:

The top five entrepreneurs will pitch their business to a panel of judges at the SOAR kihiw paskîyâkêwin Indigenous Entrepreneurship Competition Finale on April 13. The judges will then choose which entrepreneur(s) are awarded the $30,000 cash prize.

Deadline: Applications are closed. Stay tuned for future intake announcements.

Applicants must:

  • be business located in the Saskatoon Region;
  • be at least 51% Indigenous-owned;
  • be independently owned, operated and created by the entrepreneur;
  • be age 18+;
  • have 1 – 10 employees;
  • be businesses in operation for 2 years or more;
  • meet or be in the process of meeting all regulatory requirements by law;
  • provide roof of Ancestry.
  • Businesses that have received cash prizes from the SOAR program in the past, are not eligible.
