Industrial Land Incentives Program

Through the Industrial Land Incentives Program, the cost of land can be deferred by offering a long-term lease at a 10-year locked-in rate based on the City of Saskatoon’s cost of borrowing plus 1%. There is also an option to purchase the land at the market value at the time of the lease agreement.

Deadline: Continuous Intake

Applicants must:

  • be businesses;
  • be seeking financing for to cover the cost of industrial land and the cost of constructing a building on the land;
  • be establishing a new operation or expand an existing operation;
  • commit to starting construction on improvements within three years of entering the lease agreement;
  • have completed a building foundation consistent with the nature of your operations.
  • be established in the City of Saskatoon.
