Description:
The SOAR is a signature SREDA program offering eligible Indigenous entrepreneurs up to $30K to grow their business.
Comments on Funding:
The top five finalists will pitch their business to a panel of judges at the SOAR Pitch Finale.
The judges will then select the winner(s) of the cash prize totalling $30K.
Applications are closed. Stay tuned for future intake announcements.
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be business located in the Saskatoon Region;
2. be at least 51% Indigenous-owned;
3. be independently owned, operated and created by the entrepreneur;
4. be age 18+;
5. have 1 – 10 employees;
6. be businesses in operation for 2 years or more;
7. meet or be in the process of meeting all regulatory requirements by law;
8. provide roof of Ancestry.
9. Businesses that have received cash prizes from the SOAR program in the past, are not eligible.
