Description:

The Hub Incubator Program offers funding to University of Guelph students and alumni, dedicated office space and access to experienced entrepreneurs. The Hub focuses on helping startups develop a strong business model that can be rigorously tested and intelligently scaled.

Eligibility:

Applicants (teams)must:
1. be University of Guelph students working on innovative projects;
2. be University of Guelph alumni working on innovative projects; and
3. have at least one co-founder who is a current University of Guelph student or alumnus.

Application Steps:

Applicants must:
1. submit their applications and provide an articulate overview of their enterprise. 2. await response. The Wood Centre will review the application to assess suitability for the Hub.
3. pitch their business to a panel of experienced entrepreneurs. They will have 45 seconds to demonstrate why their idea matters, discuss the business model and introduce their founding team; 4. start building. Once accepted into the Hub, the team will have access to the space and resources for the duration of the program.
