Description:

CHOICES is a rebate program that rewards you for training your employees.

Comments on Funding:

Funding takes the form of rebates ranging from 4% to 10% of the businesses’ annual assessment, up to $25,000 per year.
COR- and SECOR-certified businesses automatically qualify for a 10% rebate.

Eligibility:

Applicants must have the following training criteria to be eligible for a CHOICES rebate:

1. Training must be provided by an approved third party (such as, Northern Safety Network Yukon, St. John Ambulance, Yukon University); and
2. Training must result in a certificate, transcript or other proof of completion.
3. Training does not necessarily need to have a safety focus. Training that increases your skills to help you perform your job more safely or to mitigate injury may qualify for a rebate.”
