CHOICES is a rebate program that rewards you for providing health and safety and return-to-work training courses to your employees.

Who can apply

To be eligible for a CHOICES rebate, training must:

  1. be related to improving workplace health and safety or return-to-work (for example, disability management courses);
  2. be provided by a third party (such as, Northern Safety Network Yukon, St. John Ambulance, Canadian Red Cross, Yukon University); and
  3. result in a certificate of completion, transcript or other proof of completion.

About the funding

Rebates range from 4% to 10% of your annual assessment, up to $25,000 per year. COR- and SECOR-certified businesses automatically qualify for a 10% rebate. To find out what your rebate might be, refer to the CHOICES Incentive Program policy.
